Thesis Proposal Examination Application
● Before submitting thesis proposals, students have to fulfill all core module requirements (pass the examinations and get at least 6 hours of certificate) from “Academic Ethics Education” provided by “Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education (AREE)”.

● The thesis examination application should be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the date of the oral test with the Thesis Proposal Examination Form for the IMBA Program. (see attachment 1)
❖ Need to submit together with Thesis Proposal Examination Form for IMBA Program:
1. Get at least 6 hours of the certificate from “Academic Ethics Education”
2. Thesis proposal abstract.
● The qualification of the master's degree examination committee member shall be equipped with the ability to do research in the field that graduate students were engaged in, such as thesis topic, creation, exhibition, or technical report. Also, the committee member shall meet one of the following criteria:
1. The member has been a professor or associate professor.
2. The member has obtained ph.D. degree and achieved great academic achievements.
3. The number of members is required at least three people, including an advisor; and not exceed five people. (see attachments 2 and 3)
● The thesis oral defense examination should be conducted at least one month after the review of the thesis plan is passed. The deadline for the 1st and 2nd semester is 10/31 and 4/30.
● Any matters not provided in these precautions shall be handled in accordance with the Regulations of Ming Chi University and other applicable rules.
